⁃ The annual membership gives you access to the entire virtual portfolio of destinations, experiences and hotels that are integrated and that will be integrated during the time that your membership is active.

2. Can I use my membership without Meta Quest lenses?

⁃ No. Gala Venues is an app created specifically for Meta Quest 2, 3s, and 3 devices. To access your membership you must have any of these models.

3. How many devices do each account have access to?

⁃ The annual membership is per device. Each Meta Quest device you want to use must have its own membership.

5. How many hotels can I see within Gala Venues?

⁃ The content within Gala Venues is constantly growing by integrating new hotels, experiences and destinations. Your agency/ wedding planner / event planner membership gives you access to all integrated hotels and destinations as long as your membership is active.

6. It takes a long time to load a hotel

⁃ Gala Venues is an application that works ONLINE so that you can see all the integrated hotels and destinations updated, however the loading speed of the hotels depends on the speed of the internet you are connected to. To avoid these inconveniences, we recommend that you download the hotels you are going to present to your device so that they load instantly.

7. How can I download a hotel for offline use?

⁃ It is best to download the hotels that you use the most or that you are going to use during your presentations to avoid depending on an internet connection. Click the following link to watch the download video

8. How can I transmit what is being seen on the glasses to a tablet or cell phone?

⁃ The mobile device must have the Meta Horizon app downloaded and logged in with the same account as the Meta Quest glasses. Also, both devices must be connected to the same WIFI network. Once the glasses are turned on, you must enter the app, click on devices and follow the steps to add the glasses. After connecting them, you can click on transmit, wait a few seconds and you will be able to see what they are seeing on the glasses. Follow this link to watch the video.

9. I am streaming but the image is stuck on my mobile device

⁃ The transmission depends on the speed of the internet at the location, which causes a slight delay in the transmission and sometimes it may get stuck. If you downloaded the hotel before presenting, don’t worry, the person wearing the glasses is living the experience correctly.

10. Can I control what they see on the glasses from my mobile device? 

⁃ No, the transmission to a mobile device only allows viewing, not control.

11. How long does the Meta Quest battery last?

⁃ According to Meta, the Meta Quest 3 battery lasts an average of 2.2 hours, however this may vary. For presentations with the Gala Venues app open, you can present and when you remove the glasses from the person, they will go into sleep mode (if they are not streaming to a mobile device) and when another person uses them, it will take 1 second to exit sleep mode.

⁃ When streaming to mobile devices, the glasses do not enter sleep mode and remain in streaming mode even when not in use. This mode consumes much more battery so we recommend the following:

. Start and end streaming to the mobile device at each presentation to prevent the glasses from continuing to stream when not being worn.
. Keep the Meta Quest glasses connected to power.

12. I accessed Gala Venues for the first time and it won’t let me enter the code

⁃ If the keyboard appears but does not let you enter anything and you see your hand and the control with an outline, it means that the app is paused. The easiest way is to restart the device and re-enter the app. Click here to see how to restart the device

13. I made the payment for my agency/wedding planner/event planner membership. What’s next?

⁃ You will receive 2 emails, 1 from Meta inviting you to be part of Gala Venues. By clicking accept and turning on your Meta Quest glasses, Gala Venues will appear in the application library for you to download. Once you enter Gala Venues, you must enter an alphanumeric code that you received in your email and then your account and password.
